Heating/Cooling

A geothermal field was located on neighboring property and was used via a license agreement.  That license agreement was terminated in 2021.  The termination document was recorded at the Okanogan county Auditor office # 3214141 .  

Geothermal heating require a field of approx 5000 feet of pipe installed 3 to 5 feet under ground.

Currently the heating system at 193 Golden Road is a 25 year old forced air electric furnace.  

There is no cooling system available, so the 4 to 6 weeks of 95+ degree days in the summers will be warm.  

Oroville is known for its winter wind storms, which consist of zero degree days with winds of 30 and 40+mph.  

Currently a heat pump system in Okanogan County is approximately $25,000.
