No Operational on-site septic system
The Okanogan Co. Health Dept. will provide the necessary information and requirements to have an operational on-site septic system.
This property is not a flat parcel. A Septic Designer should be engaged to do the detailed septic evaluation.
Removal of the 100+ yr.old tree at the SE corner of the home is a high possibility, as the roots are very aggressive and will run for 50' to 60' and like to locate themselves next to cement walls.
No Septic System
The septic system was located on neighboring property and was used via a license agreement. That license agreement was terminated in 2021. The termination document was recorded at the Okanogan county Auditor office # 3214141 .
Future Septic System
The neighbors well is located approx. 10' off the NW property corner of 193 Golden Rd. No septic drain field can be placed within 100 feet of the neighbors well. See the map below for a visual reference.
In Washington state domestic well placement and septic tank/field placement have minimum setup back or distance requirements from each other.
Per WAC 173-160-171 (3) (b) (v) "one hundred feet from all other sources or potential sources of contamination..." i.e. a septic drain field is a source of or potential source of contamination.
Onsite septic systems in Okanogan County currently cost between $15,000 and $30,000 depending on which system the county requires, a gravity system or a pressurized system.
193 Golden Rd. is located 1.75 miles outside the city limits and across a river. City services, water and sewer, are not available and will not be for the fore see able future.
